Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete your Koutchina account and its associated data — directly in the app or by email request — and what is deleted versus what we may retain.

Delete in the app

Open the Koutchina app and go to Settings → Account → Delete account. Two confirmation steps protect you from accidental deletion; once you confirm both, your account is permanently deleted. This is the fastest method and does not require reinstalling the app.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email privacy@koutchina.app from your registered email address with “Delete account” in the subject line. We may ask for information to verify your identity before acting, and we process the request within a reasonable time. This service is free.

What is deleted and what is kept

When you delete, we erase or irreversibly anonymize your personal data — display name, avatar and profile, your email/sign-in link, gameplay statistics and chat messages — and the account is permanently deactivated. Your virtual chips and benefits end; they have no monetary value and are not refundable.

We may retain an anonymized transaction record (with no data that identifies you) where necessary to meet legal, accounting or fraud-prevention obligations; this record cannot be linked back to you. Voice-call content is never stored in the first place.

Timing & finality

Deletion takes effect as soon as you confirm it, and any residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on our normal rotation within 30 days at most. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone; to play again later you will need to create a new account.
