Overview
Tarneeb uses a full 52-card deck — 13 cards each and 13 tricks per round. Cards rank naturally, Ace high.
How to play
- Bidding — Each player bids the number of tricks their team commits to win (7 to 13) or passes. The highest bidder picks the trump suit.
- Play — Follow the led suit if you can; otherwise play trump or any card. Trump beats any other suit.
- Make the contract — If the bidding team takes at least its bid in tricks it scores the bid; otherwise it loses that amount.
Scoring & winning
- Contract made: +the bid for your team. Failed: −the bid.
- The first team to reach 31 points wins the match.
Strategy
Don't over-bid without strong trumps — a failed contract is scored against you.
